C. Mark Anderson
Attorney & Principal
Mark graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law. After law school, he worked in Government Affairs for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, where he lobbied governmental entities regarding a host of environmental, regulatory, and land use issues. Mark has practiced law in Cherokee County since 2007 and practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, guardianship and conservatorship, estate and trust administration, and business transactions. He has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of AV for legal ability and ethical standards.
Mark is currently working towards earning his LLM In Taxation from the University of Denver College of Law. He has previously served as an Associate Magistrate Court Judge in Cherokee County.
James H. Turner

James H. “Jim” Turner has practiced in the Cherokee County and the North Georgia area for over 30 years as a business, tax, and estate planning attorney. He has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating of AV for legal ability and ethical standards.
Jim graduated from Emory University Law School in 1981. The firm he founded in 1987 handles corporate and individual taxation, estate planning, wills, powers of attorney, trusts, probate, guardianship, conservatorship, estate and trust administration matters. Prior to founding the firm, Jim was a Tax Consultant at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) in Atlanta and a Director of Advanced Sales at the U.S. headquarters of the Canada Life Assurance Company in Atlanta.
Jim resides in the Hickory Flat community with his wife Anna. Jim and Anna have two grown sons and two grandchildren.

Lane Sims
Senior Account, Controller and Office Manager
Lane has over 37 years of experience in various accounting management, finance director and controller positions with several companies. His career has been in the areas of large retail, manufacturing, distribution, service, and non-profit industries.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State College majoring in accounting with a minor in finance.
He is a life-long resident of Cherokee County and resides in the Hickory Flat Community. He enjoys watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Georgia Bulldog football but most of all he loves spending time with his family. He attends Revolution Church in Canton, Georgia. Lane and his wife Terri have two married children, 1 teenager, and 4 granddaughters.
Lane serves as the controller for the CPA and Law practices for The Turner Firms.
In addition, he manages the CPA firms accounting clients and serves in an advisory role for the same.
