William Turner

William “Will” Turner is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant™(ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter™(CLU®) who joined the firm in 2017. Prior to working at Turner & Associates, Will was a Tax Consultant in the Atlanta office of Deloitte, a Big 4 Accounting Firm.

Will earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed his graduate education at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Master of Science in Financial Planning.

Will resides in the Hickory Flat community with his wife Joy and their two children. Will and his family are members at Antioch Christian Church in Canton. Personally, Will enjoys traveling, driving and hiking in the North Georgia mountains, finding new and interesting restaurants, attending Georgia Tech football & basketball games, and spending time with his church community group.

Kristin Gerdvil

Kristin Gerdvil has served as a member of the firm since 1994. She became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1996 and has since become a Chartered Financial Consultant™(ChFC®). Kristin is seasoned in managing individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax.   She also manages specific accounting clients and serves in an advisory role.

Kristin resides in the Canton area with her 2 teenage children. She enjoys traveling with friends and family, her favorite destinations being beaches. One of her favorite pastimes is attending live music events in the community.

Senior Accountant, Controller, and Office Manager

Lane has over 40 years of experience in various accounting management, finance director and controller positions with several companies.  His career has been in the areas of large retail, manufacturing, distribution, service, and non-profit industries.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State College majoring in accounting with a minor in finance.

He is a life-long resident of Cherokee County and resides in the Hickory Flat Community.  He enjoys watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Georgia Bulldog football but most of all he loves spending time with his family.  He attends Revolution Church in Canton, Georgia.  Lane and his wife Terri have two married children, 1 teenager, and 4 granddaughters.

Lane serves as the controller for the CPA and Law practices for The Turner Firms.

In addition, he manages the CPA firms accounting clients and serves in an advisory role for the same.

Karen Gosdin

Karen has served as a member of the firm since 2005. In addition to her having worked at our firm, Karen has worked for Georgia Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS), taught at both public and private elementary schools, spent multiple years mentoring preschool teachers in the Dominican Republic, and has taught English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Karen and her husband Jason reside in the Hickory Flat Community.  They are active members of Revolution Church in Canton and have two adult daughters.  Karen enjoys spending time outdoors including camping, hiking and playing disc golf.    She also enjoys serving the Cherokee County community through the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.
